Antalya bungalow: a sheltered house in Konyaaltı with a private pool and a hot tub

Antalya brings seaside hotels to mind first; yet just behind the city, at the foot of the Beydağları, there is a completely different kind of holiday. Unlike crowded resorts, a bungalow holiday means days spent in your own garden, in your own pool, at your own pace. The sea is close, the city is close; but once you close the door, nothing remains but the scent of pine and the silence of the mountains.

Pars Bungalov was set up to meet every one of the criteria we describe in our guide to bungalow holidays in Antalya: a single house on the grounds, a pool that is never shared, an enclosed garden and amenities you can use all year round. The house has a 2+1 layout; with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room, it hosts up to 6 guests.

The bungalow is in Hacısekililer, one of the quiet neighbourhoods of Konyaaltı that stretch towards the mountains. Konyaaltı Beach is about 15 minutes away by car, and central Antalya and the main roads are quickly reached. Even so, there is no trace of the city when you look out from the garden: the Beydağları ahead of you and pine forest all around.

Within walking distance there are places to have breakfast surrounded by nature, as well as walking trails; the breakfast culture of neighbouring Çakırlar is also just a few minutes away. In listings, the phrase “private pool” often describes a pool shared by several units. At Pars Bungalov the pool belongs to the only house on the grounds: throughout your stay no one but you gets into the water and no one but you sits on the sun loungers.

The hot tub sits right next to the pool, inside the sunken seating area. During the day it is a few steps from the pool into hot water; in the evening, with its blue lighting, it becomes the most enjoyable corner of the garden.

For families who value privacy and for conservative families, this is the most frequently asked question about the bungalow: the pool area cannot be seen from outside, the garden is closed off all around and there are no other guests on the grounds. From the moment you come through the gate until you leave, the only people who see you are the ones you came with.

Because the property has no shared areas, no shared pool and no units side by side, there is no need for hotel or holiday-village rules either. You can use the pool whenever you like, watch a film in the garden in the evening and light the barbecue. Events and parties are not permitted, which also keeps the place quiet.

The price is not per person but for the whole house; up to 6 guests. The private pool, hot tub and all amenities are included; no service carries an extra charge.

Rates are per night for the whole house, not per person. A minimum stay of 2 nights applies. Check-in is at 14.00 and check-out at 11.00. There is no breakfast service at the property.
